VR Kennemerland signs with XVR

XVR Simulation won the tender put forward by Dutch Safety Region Kennemerland (Veiligheidsregio Kennemerland). The official signing of the 6-year contract took place on 17 August and was attended by representatives from Safety Region Kennemerland and XVR Simulation.

Safety Region Kennemerland will be using XVR On Scene to train and educate their staff within fire, medical, and police services. Additionally, they have added XVR Expo to their licence and will be using XVR’s Cloud service, with the expectation of spending an impressive 1700 hours yearly on remote and/or online training. 

This will make Safety Region Kennemerland the largest user of the XVR Cloud service to date. Their main aim is to use the XVR platform to maintain the skills of the region’s dive team leaders. Going forward, the annual exams for dive team leaders at Safety Region Kennemerland will take place virtually and using head-mounted displays for an immersive and realistic experience.
